The objective of this project was to chose a typeface and build a poster series from it. Since I can remember I've been collecting Vogue magazines, so I decided to work with the typeface Bodoni. I love Bodoni's modern style and its prominent characteristics of thin and thick lines in the font. I designed two 15x20-inch Type Specimen Posters in Adobe Illustrator and then limited it down to one. Then I designed a companion piece in another 15x20-inch poster featuring a timeline contextualizing my chosen typeface. For my color palette, I chose different shades of blue because it's calming and inviting. Both posters follow a grid and have hierarchy.
